The Rotary Club of Sugar House continues to exceed its District membership goals, which is one reason we received the Presidential Citation with Distinction for 2010-2011. We inducted 6 new members for a 9% increase in our membership.

Welcome back Dick. Past President, Vice President, Sgt. at Arms. Richard joined Sugar House Rotary in 1962 and was sponsored by Dr. J.P. Hunter. Richard runs an automotive towing business.

Glenn Lanham, Executive Director of the American Lung Association in Utah
Glenn was inducted into the Sugar House Club on November 17, 2011. Glenn is a native of Culpeper, Virginia and has lived in Utah since 1993. Glenn received both his M.B.A. and B.A. from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. His favorite activity is spending time with his two children. Glenn was a former member of The Rotary Club of Salt Lake.

Marvin "Marv" Turner, CFO of Cuisine Unlimited, Inc.
Marv joined Sugar House Rotary on 24 Feb. 2011. He had been a member of the Salt Lake Rotary Club for 2 years. He was sponsored by Berry Bank. Community service is a big part of Cuisine Unlimited's corporate philosophy. We are happy to have Marv join us.

Stephen "Steve" J Woolston, VP and Senior Benefits Consultant at GBS Benefits
Steve joined Sugar House Rotary on 3 Mar. 2011. He was sponsored by V L Kesler. Steve enjoys acticities with many grandchildren. Steve and his wife Cheryl move here from Somerset, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Somerset Pennsylvania Rotary Club.

Terri recently moved to Utah and was sponsored by our former member, Katie Porter. We are excited to have Terri join us as a member and leader of one of our Chili Open charities.
Judy Zone, Executive Director, Youthlinc
Judy is well known throughout our District since she has presented Youthlinc programs to all 44 clubs. Some of our Club members have participated in Youthlinc with their kids. She transferred to us from the Holladay Club. District Governor Elect Rick Cambra graciously stood in as her sponsor (in Paula Bell's absence) at her induction. Judy, we're glad you have joined us!
Don Saxon, Professor of Taxation, Westminster College
Don is a former Rotarian from New Hampshire and a Tax Attorney (oh no, another attorney!). Bev Christy, our Assistant District Governor, sponsored him. He seems to catch on quickly and appears to already know the words to all of our songs. Don, welcome!
Julie Crandall, Opthalmic Technician, Moran Eye Center, University of Utah

Julie was a Rotarian in the making for a long time and was sponsored by Shirlene Bastar. She has been on many humanitarian missions in Africa as part of a team providing surgical training and innovations, equipment and surgeries for people with preventable blindness. Nava Livne, Nursing Education, Westminster College
Nava is from Israel and has a Ph.D and several masters degrees. Her sponsor is Bev Christy. She is changing careers and is inspired by serving her community. Nava makes up meetings via eclubone when her class schedule conflicts with lunch meetings. Nava, we look forward to seeing you more now that your class schedule has changed!
